About SCECS

Who are we?

Sydney Catholic Early Childhood Services (SCECS) is a not-for-profit service catering for children and families from our Catholic schools and local community. SCECS currently operates Outside School Hours Care and Early Childhood services at several Catholic schools and Parishes within the Sydney Archdiocese.  Our Centres provide quality education and care programs with qualified and passionate educators.

All our services operate in close partnership with the local Catholic school and Parish community.

Our Statement of Committment to Child Safety:

SCECS is a Child Safe Organisation dedicated to the Protection of every child in our care. SCECS aims to create environments where children’s safety and wellbeing is the centre of thought, values and actions. This framework is underpinned by the United Nations Convention on the rights of Children and aims to ensure that every child’s safety and wellbeing is maintained.  View our SCECS Child Safe Organisation Framework.

Sarah

“Staff are very warm…friendly and approachable”

Jackie

“The staff are absolutely beautiful, the centre is so bright and new but it’s the familiarity Jasmine has already developed with St Therese primary school which she will attend next year that has been one of the biggest benefits…We feel very lucky to be one of the first families here and honestly couldn’t be happier”

Emma

“It’s affordable…the long day care hours are great…meals are provided and so I don’t have to worry about that…I can go to work and know that my child is well looked after.”

Marcy

“We’re Christ centered.  We live in a society which is demanding on both parents…if the Church can fill a gap…to assist mum and dad help educate their child…Catholic education would be there the whole way through.  We’re staying all onsite, from the morning till the evening…we’re providing a Catholic community for all people, not just for Catholics.”
