Dynamic individual required to lead and develop a variety of services. Immediate commencement – full time role.


Sydney Catholic Early Childhood Services currently operate OSHC services in Catholic schools across the Sydney metropolitan area. The number of OSHC services operated by SCECS is expanding and we now require a dynamic person with OSHC industry experience to support a variety of services.

The Roaming Coordinator will oversee any centre that requires support due to the centre Coordinator taking leave or supporting a new centre.

The floating Coordinator will work closely with centre staff, supporting them with their Quality Improvement Plans and the associated practices required in offering a high-quality OSHC service for all children and their families.


The  Floating Coordinator will report to the SCECS Regional Operations Coordinator and be responsible for

  • Be the responsible person for the service
  • Provide a safe OSHC service for staff and children in an all-inclusive professional team environment
  • Maintain children attendance and casual bookings schedules to ensure child safety and supervision
  • Supervise other educators, ensuring they understand and perform in-service responsibilities
  • Design and implement engaging educational programs with observations and reflection journals
  • Create opportunities to share children’s participation and engagement in programs with families
  • Maintain strong relationships with families and the school community
  • Networking with our other centre Coordinators in leadership and child care workshops
  • Travel between centres when required
  • Assist in opening up new centres

Skills and Experience: 

  • Leadership experience in the OSHC/Early Childhood service environment
  • Current knowledge of the National Quality Framework (Laws, Regulations and Standards) for out of school care
  • Hold relevant qualifications
  • Hold a current Driver’s License and own car
  • 5 years OSHC Coordinator experience


Essential: Diploma in Early Childhood, Drivers license and own car, Flexibility to travel across the Sydney area.

Desirable: Early Childhood Teaching Degree
